Ashleigh & Sean- Swinton Estate Wedding Photographer.
Cloudy skies, a stately home, an intimate outdoor ceremony and two cool AF Canadians. I hope I’ve set the scene.
Ashleigh & Sean tied the knot on a gloomy day in North Yorkshire, in the blistering cold (I thought this was meant to be a heatwave) at Swinton Park. They had decided to travel to England from Canada for a wedding just for two! After enjoying their favourite cocktail together (An Old Fashioned), Ashleigh & Sean got ready together before meeting on the reception lawn in front of Swinton’s glorious castle turret. The sun was hiding away and the temperature dropped. The freezing cold didn’t stop Ashleigh, who was an absolute trooper on the day.
After the ceremony, the happy couple and I took a wander around the Swinton Estate to capture some kick ass portraits. I couldn’t have asked for a more natural, relaxed couple. From start to finish these guys were an absolute pleasure to work with and although I was only with them for a few hours I genuinely felt I’d known them a lifetime.
I’ve done a handful of weddings which only include the Bride and Groom and I absolutely LOVE them! As much fun as a big wedding is, stripping away everything to just focus on the couple is something really special and unique.
As always a massive thank you to the Bride & Groom for having me!
