Charity & Paul – Walled Garden Nottingham Wedding
“We are so in love with our photos, we really couldn’t ask for anything more. The quality and care you get is sooooo worth the money. Thank you for being exactly what we wanted and more!”
The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields, Nottingham is an absolute hidden gem within the wedding world. Tucked behind a country house and golf course, you’d easily miss this stunning venue if you weren’t looking. Surrounded by high walls covered in luscious greenery, The Walled Garden is completely cut off from the rest of the area and feels a million miles from everything else, allowing you to completely focus on your wedding day without the distractions of the outside world. Every inch of this venue is picturesque and pretty much a wedding photographers dream. When it came to doing the group shots I was a little spoilt for choice with which backdrop to use! But I’m getting ahead of myself!
Bridal prep took place on site with hair being done by Hair At No11 and make up by Glam By Holly Louise. I had chatted to Charity a lot on the lead up to the wedding so meeting her felt like a friend I’d know for years. The morning was filled with laughter and the building leant itself perfectly for floral and dress shots! I also got to meet the team from Sheridale Productions who are some of the loveliest and most creative wedding videographers I’ve had the pleasure of shooting along side.
The ceremony was held outside under a bandstand with rows of chairs aligned for friends and family. Charity walked down the aisle with her Dad and met her best friend at the end. They exchanged vows and rings before sealing the deal with a kiss.
After the ceremony, guests were serenaded by Jaque Seviour whilst enjoying champagne and canapés. Guests could also take full advantage of the Donut Wall set up by the Bride & Groom, now I’m not just saying this but it should be totally compulsory for every wedding to have a donut wall. It should just be the law. Whilst the guests were entertained I slipped off with the happy couple to grab some kick ass portraits and take full advantage of the gorgeous scenery available at The Walled Garden.
The afternoon was super chilled with guests enjoying the sun, lawn games and great friendship! As evening approached and after food and some tear-jerking speeches, Charity & Paul performed their first dance as husband & wife. After being joined by their nearest and dearest and busting some serious moves on the dance floor, we crept off to take just a few more portraits underneath a floral archway lit only by fairy lights, I couldn’t of asked for a better way to end the day!
Charity & Paul put so much effort into their day and created an experience none of us involved will forget. They were such an easy and fun couple to work with and I honestly can’t wait to get back to The Walled Garden again.
