Winter Wedding ~ Belinda & Mark
“We are so grateful for all your hard work!So so happy with them!!! Thanks so much!!!”
First of all, Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great time and has kicked off 2018 in the best way possible. I’m fully recharged and ready to kick some ass. So lets start by talking about the last shoot of 2017. Belinda & Mark were married on December 30th which is the latest I’ve ever shot a wedding but was a great way to finish the year. I have to give a lot of props to these two because the weather was difficult to say the least. If you can think of a weather condition then we probably encountered it on their wedding day. We started with snow, which then turned to rain, which then became a horrific gale force wind. Through in some sleet and a little of sunshine and thats about everything. Bridal preparation was at Belinda’s family home near Leyburn and the ceremony was held in a gorgeous church in Hardraw before heading back to The Garden Rooms at Tennants.
We stopped off on the way to the reception to get some group shots and some of the happy couple at the family farm which has the most beautiful grounds. This is where Belinda was an absolute trooper. The wind was freezing and in a mad dash me, Mark, Belinda & her sister ran around the farm grounds to grab some portraits of the two of them. And I’m so pleased we did as the images came out lovely even if at the time we were all screaming in pain with how cold it was.
This was a lovely day spent with a genuinely amazing couple and an excellent way to close another year of business. A massive thank you to Belinda & Mark for having me and to the staff at Tennants who are always super friendly!
