Get Married At Eden Barn ~ Wedding Photography
I wanted to kick off a series of blogs this year that shines a light on some of the best wedding venues that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at a whole bunch of times over the years. Showcasing how amazing they are and why I love them so much! These are all locations I’m lucky enough to visit pretty much every year. So where better to kick off with than Eden Barn!
Eden Barn is tucked away in the rolling hills of Cumbria, and to be honest is an absolute hidden gem. It’s a venue I never get tired of and one that every time I get booked for I know it’s going to be a good day. But what makes it so amazing? That list is seemingly never ending but I’ll do my best to pinpoint what stands out to me.
To start with it’d be a crime if I didn’t mention the location. Eden is a stones throw away from Kirkby Stephen in Cumbria and regardless of what direction you point yourself, you’ve got the most picturesque, wallpaper worthy views to use as a back drop.
The venue itself is a place that with every visit I discover something new that I fall in love with. Since first shooting there in 2019, the barn has continued to grow and develop with every visit, but the core aesthetics have always stayed the same and I dare you to walk into the main ceremony barn, look upon the fairy lights, and not be dumb struck by its magic. I DARE you! With additions such as an onsite area to get ready in, it makes things even easier and helps take away some of the stresses that come from the wedding day. What I’ve loved about the barn is that it essentially becomes a blank canvas for each couple allowing them to paint it with their personality and make it their own. No one wants their wedding to feel like someone else’s and Eden Barn allows you take a gorgeous backdrop and make it totally unique to you.
And lastly and the biggest reason why I adore Eden Barn is the team that runs the show. I know that every time I arrive on site that everything is going to run smoothly and efficiently without any hiccups or issue. I know that should I or the couple need anything it’s a simple ask away from being completed. And whilst this may seem like an obvious feature you’d be surprised. You can see how passionate the team are and how this amazing family run business are beyond proud of what they’ve created.
